Abstract

The article deals with the issue of organizing extracurricular independent work of students of higher educational institutions in the specialty of information systems and technologies based on digital educational

technologies using the Smart Science distance subject circle as an example. The didactic functions that activate and develop the skills of independent thinking in students are analyzed. Questions about the use of distance learning based on digital education and the use of modules aimed at the formation of general professional skills were discussed.
