Abstract

Introductory information / relevance. The problem of improving the system of training personnel in working professions and the formation of the skills of modern professions among young students is in the center of attention of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This article discusses the problem of the professional development of young students in the successful socialization of the individual, the stages and stages of this process, its components and psychological and pedagogical mechanisms, as well as the importance of the timely preparation of a personal professional plan by students at the preliminary stage of this process. Methods. Analysis of scientific literature on the research problem; questioning and oral questioning of students on the subject of the formation of a personal professional plan of students; individual conversation with students to diagnose the formation, validity and sustainability of interest in the profession; comparative analysis of survey results. Results. Knowledge of the distinctive features of the student’s personality will allow them to optimally draw up a personal professional plan. Such an approach to career growth activates the activity of students in terms of professional self-determination and contributes to an increase in the intensity of the process of their professional development. At the same time, it is necessary to analyze and compare the motives of the teaching and the motives for choosing a profession, as well as to find out their compliance with the needs of society in personnel. Conclusions. Activities for the professional orientation of young students at the preliminary stage of their professional development should be aimed at providing personal and individually oriented assistance. The optimal reasonable choice of the sphere of future professional activity is facilitated by the timely organization of work on the preparation of a personal professional plan by students. When drawing up a personal professional plan, it is advisable to take into account the age and psycho- physiological characteristics, abilities, inclinations and interests of students, as well as the needs of society in personnel.
