THE ROLE OF THE FAMILY IN THE FORMATION OF THE PERSON’S ETHNIC IDENTITY

Abstract
In this article the importance of family and marriage relations in the interaction of social processes of society is highlighted, special approaches to family relations and values, the functions of the family in society and family institutions are considered. Conclusions and recommendations are also presented. Children born in inter-ethnic marriages have specific psychological characteristics and difficulties in developing ethno-cultural identity.
