This article analyzes the problems that arise in the process of training future industrial engineers in higher education institutions, and the improvement measures necessary to solve them. These include problems such as the incompatibility of existing educational programs with economic needs, inconsistency of personnel training with the requirements of the labor market, significant obsolescence of educational programs, problems in teaching methods and practical training, as well as insufficient implementation of interdisciplinary training. approaches and innovations in pedagogy. The necessary solutions to each problem and how to implement them are also indicated.
