Abstract

Characterizing the economy of the city of Samarkand in the first half of the 19th century, it is necessary first of all to emphasize that the economic relations of the old Middle Ages were preserved here, and traditional handicraft production predominated in the sphere of production. There were several directions in the economic life of the city. Based on the analysis of these directions, it will be possible to describe the economic life of the city.
