Abstract

This article presents the use of virtual reality and augmented reality technologies, the positive and negative features of VR systems, their structural structure, the ability to provide real-time feedback, as well as their importance in the educational process. Virtual reality is a unique view of the world around us, created artificially using technical means and presented digitally. The created effects are projected onto a person’s consciousness and allow him to experience emotions that are as close to reality as possible. The use of virtual and augmented reality in the educational process, results and analysis are also presented. Especially the use of these systems in subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology increases the effectiveness of the lesson. Forms the imagination of students when conducting laboratory work, experiments that are dangerous or difficult to perform. Recently, concepts such as virtual library, virtual keyboard, and blackboard have been widely used in the field of education. The article pays special attention to these aspects.
