Abstract

In this article, the issues of professional and practical training of future social work workers in higher education institutions, the emergence of social work as a profession, the content and essence of the concepts of competence and competence, and practical competence are highlighted. It is also based on the fact that the formation of practical competencies of future social workers is an urgent pedagogical problem.
