This scientific article widely analyzes the issues of psychological preparation of young people for the role of parents. Modern family trends, attitudes and views of young people on the family, as well as scientific opinions on the level of their preparation for family life are covered. The article examines the psychological and emotional preparation of young people for family life, their ability to accept the roles and responsibilities of parents, and the problems that arise in this process. The socio-economic factors in the formation of family relationships, the education and upbringing systems, personal characteristics and psychology of youth were also studied. The article also provides recommendations for identifying and overcoming psychological difficulties in the process of preparing young people to start a family.
